24 Crisis Hotline: 1-888-202-2772

Individual, family, group, and career counseling are provided by qualified counselors with law enforcement backgrounds. When the DPOCC first began operating in 1992, it provided a good deal of its services to officers on the east coast. Over the years, as word of our services spread, the DPOCC began receiving calls and emails from officers from every sector of the country. It quickly became apparent that a counselors physical presence was not possible or essential to conducting effective and meaningful counseling sessions.

While we still conduct face to face counseling, the DPOCC counselors do the majority of their work via the telephone. Telephone counseling provides privacy, enables our counselors to talk with an officer anywhere in the country, and reduces the physical and financial demands that used to fall on a client who had to travel to a counseling center not in their locale.

Through the past fifteen years of operation, the DPOCC has evolved into an organization able to provide counseling services free of charge to anyone in the nation, and in some cases to offericers outside of the U.S. The DPOCC also provides a 24-hour Crisis Hotine for emergencies, at 1-888-202-2772
